NxtGen Energy Group Classes

NxtGen Energy Group Classes are currently offered at Trinity Church in Miami Gardens, Florida.  Trinity Church is located at 17801 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami Gardens, 33169.  To find out more information about Trinity Church, click on the link at the left.

NxtGen Energy has adopted donation-based pricing for its adult, group fitness classes. Donation-based pricing allows everyone to participate, regardless of their ability to pay.   NxtGen Energy believes that personal physical fitness should not be a function of personal economics.

CORE 101 Students will participate in a sixty minute workout focused on building upper body and core strength. Students will be challenged to “find their edge” and push themselves to a higher level of fitness. Appropriate for all fitness levels. (Linda Freeman, RYT)   Suggested donation: $12.00/class

ENERGY 101 Students will participate in a sixty minute series of non-stop, heat-building movements, breathing exercises, and core conditioning postures to increase strength from the inside out, raise energy levels, and release stress. Appropriate for all fitness levels. (Linda Freeman, RYT)  Suggested donation: $12.00/class

RELAX & BREATHE! Medical studies are beginning to release findings that suggest that the emotional stress caused by day to day activities of life can lead to both acute and chronic health issues. This ninety minute workshop focuses on breathing exercises and supported poses/postures to reduce the impact of chronic stress on the body, mind, and emotions.  Relax & Breathe! supported poses/postures utilize bolsters, pillows, folded/rolled blankets, and other props to assist the individual relieve the pain and discomfort of back and neck pain, anxiety, headaches, insomnia, jet lag, breathing problems, pregnancy, PMS, and menopause.   Students will learn techniques to reduce the negative effects of chronic stress. RELAX & BREATHE: Stress Break! Enjoy a mid-day,  thirty minute session of breathing exercises and postures designed to relieve some of the common side effects of stress:  headache, insomnia, fatigue, neck and back pain, and anxiety.     Go back to work feeling refreshed! ROCK YOUR BODY A sports training workshop for youth that will not only increase their capacity as athletes through strength and conditioning workouts, but will also inspire and motivate them to excel in every area of their lives.  (Zachary Freeman)  Suggested donation for this three day training event: $50.00/workshop

TAE CHUN DO Learn a martial arts system based on the close range techniques of Wing Chun Kung Fu and the long distance techniques of Tae Kwon Do, while increasing your physical fitness level. For ages 14 and up.  (David Freeman)  Suggested donation:  $12.00/class

Summer Fitness Boot Camp Get a total body workout with your trainer, NCAA Defensive Tackle, Zachary Freeman!  Using hand weights and resistance bands, learn proper weight training techniques while you build and tone your muscles and burn off those calories.   Strengthen your heart and boost your metabolism with cardio workouts.  Build new nutritional habits with a plan that you design.   Eight week session begins Saturday, June 13, 2009.  Suggested donation: $15.00/class

Relax & Breathe! Workshops and Relax & Breathe: Stress Break! are suitable for Management Team Retreats and Meetings.  Ask about special pricing for workplace workshops.
